These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of Pokemon Auto Chess at https://pokemon-auto-chess.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally able to accept these Terms in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts and Access

  1. An authenticated account is required for core gameplay features.
  2. You are responsible for account activity and for securing access to your sign-in provider.
  3. We may deny access when reasonably required for security, abuse prevention, moderation, or operational capacity.

3. Acceptable Use Rules

You agree not to:

  1. Cheat, exploit bugs, abuse unintended mechanics, or use unauthorized automation/tools.
  2. Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, APIs, or moderation tools.
  3. Disrupt matchmaking, lobbies, chat, or service stability.
  4. Harass, threaten, impersonate, or otherwise abuse other users.
  5. Submit unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.

4. Usernames, Chat, and User Submissions

You are responsible for the content you submit, including usernames, chat messages, and bot-builder submissions.

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, moderate, and improve the Service.

5. Moderation and Enforcement

To protect users and the Service, authorized moderators/admins may take actions including:

  1. Searching moderation data (for example chat-search tooling).
  2. Renaming accounts that violate rules.
  3. Removing messages.
  4. Suspending access through bans/unbans.

Violations of these Terms may result in warnings, content/action restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent ban.

6. Bot Builder and Community Bot Content

The Service includes bot submission and approval workflows. Submitted bots may be reviewed, approved, disapproved, or removed by authorized roles according to project rules and operational needs.

7. Intellectual Property and Fan Project Status

  1. Pokemon Auto Chess is an open-source, non-profit fan project: Non profit game. For fans, by fans.
  2. All rights to The Pokemon Company. Pokemon and related intellectual property belong to their respective rights holders (including The Pokemon Company and affiliates).
  3. Service-specific source code/content remains subject to its applicable project licenses and rights notices.
  4. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property to you.

8. Service Availability and Changes

  1. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  2. We may add, modify, limit, or remove features at any time.
  3. We may apply patches, balancing changes, maintenance windows, or emergency restrictions without prior notice.
  4. We may limit access due to technical capacity, abuse, or security incidents.

9. Account Deletion

The client currently includes an account deletion action. Under current implementation, this removes the main in-game user metadata record and ends the session.

Deletion of all related records across every connected system is not guaranteed to be immediate or automatic in a single action.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, operators of Pokemon Auto Chess are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the Service.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service operators from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for rule enforcement, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service protection.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator's place of residence, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Updated versions are posted at:

Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
